The Smooth CE computer will calculate the speed at which your pulse returns to a resting heart rate after a workout. Based on these results, your fitness level will be scored from 1 to 6 - a great way to monitor your health and fitness progress.

The Smooth CE is heavy on construction and stability. However it's fairly light on entertainment.
On the one hand it's got a heavier flywheel and more solid construction than most home or even commercial ellipticals. On the other hand, you don't get a lot of built in workout programs or flashy console options.
So it really depends on what you want. Overall though, if you're looking for a high quality commercial feeling elliptical, the Smooth CE is an excellent buy.
